The Hinkley Lighting 16577MZ Hardy Island Flood Landscape Matte Bronze uses a 6” high heavy duty solid cast brass enclosure of matte bronze finish to house a 50 watts screw base bulb for flood lighting, with 4.5” wide bulb housing. The 16577MZ flood light from the Hardy Island series can be used to enhance the appeal of the exterior areas of a house. The most common areas for installing the 16577MZ flood light from the Hardy Island series are walkways, gardens, back-yards and around water bodies, where it can be used as accent lighting to high-light out-standing features of the landscape. The 16577MZ flood light from the Hardy Island series can also be placed around the periphery of water bodies or around the compound wall of your house. Since the 16577MZ flood light from the Hardy Island series is a low voltage light using 12 volts, it has to be connected to a low voltage transformer to convert the domestic line voltage to low voltage. Hinkley Lighting offers a range of low voltage transformers with and without dimmers, the latter being used to suppress the buzzing sound emitted by the transformers.
