What started off two decades back as a company selling speakers shaped like rocks for placing in backyards has now come to represent the ultimate in outdoor and landscape lighting. The success of SPJ Lighting’s expansion was a result of its founder, Paul Lestz’s, ability to face and overcome challenges through continuous improvement of products. For this, SPJ Lighting resorted to custom fabrication with its mottos, "Let your imagination become a reality" and "You draw it, we'll build it". This allowed SPJ Lighting to attract architects and designers, who enjoyed the advantages of turning each job into a unique signature project.
