Lighting is very important in creating the right ambiance for any occasion. The mood of the room can change from calm and romantic to energizing and vibrant by experimenting with different types of lighting. Light fixtures can be positioned to bounce light around the room for an extra festive atmosphere. |

| Highlight certain areas of the room with accent lights to create an intimate glow or use lights with changing colors to create the right party mood. |

| If your room is large and has a high ceiling and you want to make it appear cozier, you can use track lighting or a focused light fixture to create low pools of light. You may also want to play with shadows by placing a light fixture low and close to an object, illuminating it in a way that spreads its shadow up a wall or across a corner. This technique also works well in creating unusual patterns on your walls and ceiling. |
