The George Nelson Cigar Lotus Bubble Floor Lamp by Modernica is constructed using steel with nickel plating for increased durability. The supporting rod of the George Nelson Cigar Lotus Bubble Floor Lamp ends in a solid steel base for stability and the light is accompanied by a 9 foot electrical cord and an on-off switch. The light fixture itself is a tribute to the artist’s creativity and a source of constant delight utilizing a steel wire to give it a unique design, which is then enclosed in a translucent acrylic resin to impart an ethereal quality and subtle glow to the light emitted.

The original masterpiece was designed by George Nelson at the end of the Second World War and the present version has been resurrected by Modernica to suit the palette of the present-day discerning customer.
