Modernica APPLE-LAMP George Nelson Apple Bubble Pendant Lamp

As the name suggests, the George Nelson Apple Bubble Pendant Lamp by Modernica is a hanging pendant shaped like an apple. The original shape and design of the George Nelson Apple Bubble Pendant Lamp was conceptualized by George Nelson in the 1940’s and 50’s, and was resurrected by Modernica from 1989 onwards.

Modernica’s insistence on reincarnating classic and timeless designs using the same materials as were used in the original has resulted in the George Nelson Apple Bubble Pendant Lamp having the same beauty and elegance which have made it a permanent fixture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

The George Nelson Apple Bubble Pendant Lamp consists of a steel wire maneuvered into the shape of an apple and covered by a semi-transparent resin covering to conceal the interiors, which can accommodate an A19 bulb of up to 150 watts. The adaptability to a universal voltage imparts considerable flexibility to the George Nelson Apple Bubble Pendant Lamp in terms of placement.

The George Nelson Apple Bubble Pendant Lamp comes equipped with a 5.25 inch thick brushed nickel ceiling plate for connecting the fixture to the ceiling and six feet of connecting cord for electric supply for a standard installation.
