The Hinkley Lighting 54000BZ Landscape Line Voltage Spot Light Bronze uses a die cast aluminum construction for a bronze finish housing made of thermoplastic composite resin to provide a durable and corrosion free light suitable for outdoor installation. The 54000BZ Spot Light is 4” high with an 8.5” wide lens and works on normal domestic line voltage of 120 volts to power a 75 watts bulb. Apart from their aesthetic function as an accent light to highlight outstanding features of the landscape and create dramatic silhouettes, the 54000BZ Spot Lights can also be used as an effective security mechanism to keep intruders and thieves at bay. For this function, the 54000BZ Spot Light can be connected to a motion sensor which switches on the light the moment it detects movement. Modern motion sensors are designed to differentiate between the movement caused by a pet or a tree branch and that caused by human beings.
