The Hinkley Lighting 16704MZ Hardy Island Low Voltage Well Landscape Matte Bronze contains a housing of heavy duty solid cast brass with a matte bronze finish. The 35 watts bi-pin bulb of the 16704MZ well light is housed in a 4” wide lampshade with grill protection of the same finish to prevent damage from dust, dirt, grime and pebbles, etc, with the lampshade lens capable of withstanding heavy loads. An advantage of using such small well lights (4” x 4”) is the flexibility in focusing the light at the exact desired spot. Well lights such as the 16704MZ Hardy Island are used to accentuate landscape features, while the light itself remains well concealed. Low voltage lighting is increasingly preferred for outdoor lighting due to its safety and lower running cost.
