The Hinkley Lighting 16010MZ Hardy Island Path Light Landscape Matte Bronze is a heavy duty cast brass lamp in matte bronze finish used for outdoor lighting in walkways, pathways and gardens. Being less than 1 ½ feet high, the 16010MZ Hardy Island Path Light Landscape can also be used as step lighting to bring depth and the interplay of shadows to the landscape. The 16010MZ uses a bi-pin bulb of 20 watts powered by low voltage electric current of 12 volts. Since it is powered by the normal domestic voltage of 120 volts, the 16010MZ Hardy Island Path Light Landscape needs a transformer to convert this higher voltage to low voltage. Path lights are normally placed at a distance of 6-12 feet from each other, alternately on opposite sides of the pathway for best lighting effect.
