Hinkley Lighting 1590BZ Low Voltage Well Bronze

The Hinkley Lighting 1590BZ Low Voltage Well Bronze is a well light with a bronze powder coat finish enclosure covering a clear lens containing a 50 watts bi-pin bulb using low voltage electric power. The convex glass bulb lens is also covered by a grille of bronze finish. Since the 1590BZ Well Light is mostly placed in-ground, it has excellent resistance to seepage of water. Despite this, it is preferable that the ground around the 1590BZ Well Light is laid out with permeable sand to allow easy drainage of water. The 1590BZ Well Light is ETL listed and is suitable for placing in wet conditions. Low voltage lighting needs to be connected to a special low voltage transformer, and an optional dimmer, which converts the domestic line voltage to low voltage. The advantage of low voltage lighting is its adaptability to the more energy efficient LED bulbs. Well lights have to be made of durable, corrosion free material to withstand the external environment and damage from prolonged proximity to water.
