The Hinkley Lighting 1544BK Landscape Path Light Landscape Black, 12V is a 20.5” high path light made in black finish with a 12 watts wedge base bulb, running on 12 volts. The 1544BK Landscape Path Light is suitable for placing along walkways and pathways to light them up for better visibility and ambience. Since it functions on low voltage of 12 volts as opposed to the normal domestic line voltage of 120 volts, the 1544BK Landscape Path Light consumes lesser power and is safer from electrical hazards; it is also easier to install and the installation does not need underground wiring or a licensed electrician. The 1544BK Landscape Path Light comes with a wiring kit and a heavy duty ground spike made of durable and corrosion free composite material. However, the transformer to convert line voltage to low voltage has to be bought separately. The capacity of the transformer selected equals the wattage of the low voltage lights which have to be connected to it.
