Hinkley Lighting 1532BZ Low Voltage Spot Bronze

The Hinkley Lighting 1532BZ Low Voltage Spot Bronze is a landscape spot light with a 4.5” wide lampshademounted on a 6.25” high enclosure of bronze finish. The 1532BZ Low Voltage Spot uses a 75 watts bi-pin bulb to emit light through a clear tempered glass lens. Since the 1532BZ Low Voltage Spot is an outdoor light, it has to be sufficiently resistant to solid and liquid impact, such as dust, dirt, grime, water seepage. This resistance is measured by a 2 digit number, which is called the IP rating of the light fixture. The first digit shows resistance to solid particles and ranges from 0 to 6, with 0 implying no protection and 6 implying completely dust-proof. Outdoor lighting should have an IP of 5-6 for solids. The second digit shows resistance to liquid or water leakage and ranges from 0 to 8, with 0 implying no protection and 8 implying completely water-proof, even under immersed conditions.
