The Hinkley Lighting 1523VZ Landscape Path Landscape Victorian Bronze is a 22” high landscape path lighting fixture, which uses a wedge type bulb of 18 watts powered by 12 volts current. The rod and frame are made in Victorian bronze finish and the 1523VZ Landscape Path light casts a down-light from a 6.75” wide lampshade. For placing path lights along walkways, pathways and gardens, alternating the lights on either side of the path with a distance of 6-12 feet between consequent lights is a good idea to avoid the effect of a runway. Subtle lighting which does not shine into visitors’ eyes or creates a glare is preferred. The 1523VZ Landscape Path light uses low voltage lighting and a transformer to convert the normal domestic line voltage to low voltage. To avoid or at least to minimize the buzzing sound of the transformer, a dimmer is generally recommended as an attachment to the transformer.
