The Hinkley Lighting 1404OC Landscape Path Low Voltage Olde Copper is a mushroom shaped path light, 22” in height, which uses a 12 watt wedge bulb. The light is finished in copper with a patina giving it an aged look. Since path lights are placed outdoors, they are designed for better resistance to the elements such as sun, rain, wind, dust, dirt and water. Ideally, the 1404OC Landscape Path Light should be placed along walkways and pathways, alternately on either side of the path, with a uniform distance of 6-12 feet between consecutive lights. When placing path lights, care should be taken to ensure that they are not too close together to avoid the “runway effect” – subtlety is the key in placement of path lights. Too many lights may cause glare and discomfort, too few lights may seem to be ineffective and out of place.
