It is made from cast aluminium with a white powder coating and is designed to harness the light from 3 high output LED bulbs. The light is dispersed through the pebbled glass panels strategically placed at the top and sides of the Post Cap. The SL214W Imperial is ideal for entrance-ways, including pathways and walkways. A photo-sensor switches on and turns off the SL214W Solar Post Cap automatically, while its photo-voltaic cells ensure continuous operation of up to 10 hours. A battery back-up is given through a single Ni-MH rechargeable battery. The SL214W Imperial Solar Post Cap is designed to fit over a 5” X 5” PVC post.
